Vision

Our Mission Statement

We want every child to feel that they belong: safe, valued, included and proud of who they are. We believe that when children feel a strong sense of belonging, they are more able to attend well, build positive relationships, try new experiences and believe in their own future.

We aspire for children to become both social and successful. We want them to be respectful, confident and kind; able to communicate well, build healthy relationships and contribute positively to their community. We also want them to be ambitious, resilient and prepared for the future, with the knowledge, experiences and self-belief they need to thrive in secondary school and beyond.
This vision is shaped by our core values: Restorative, Inclusive and Hard Working.

Our Core Values:

At Pearson we value enjoyment and positivity.

We are RESTORATIVE, INCLUSIVE and we are HARD WORKING.

To be RESTORATIVE means to build respectful relationships and to repair harm when harm is done. This requires respect for myself and for others, honesty and the strength to take responsibility for my actions.

To be INCLUSIVE means to value and celebrate individuality and difference. This requires curiosity, empathy and care. We need to develop the courage and commitment to making a positive difference.

To be HARD WORKING means to try our hardest and to be resilient. This requires increasing independence, consistency and a determination to be successful and means we have to learn to try our hardest and to be resilient.
